Grizzly Bear Journey
We recently went on a 9 hour Grizzly Bear Journey. Earlier this year we went on a Wild Life Journey.Both tours were marvellous in every way. Garry is a highly experienced and knowledgeable tour guide. His knowledge of the area, and especially the tides, their height, speed, etc., is phenomenal. He a totally reliable and safety-conscious in every way.We enjoyed every moment of each tour. The wild life and scenery was amazing, and the ocean rapids absolutely thrilling.We are planning to take the Whale Watching Journey next year and also hope to arrange a group tour which would include the salmon barbecue.We cannot recommend Garry and the tours enough.

After our bear-trip to Bute Inlet we have been watching our photographs and movies showing them to our friends and family. They were as impressed as we were. You really have given us an unforgettable experience, watching bears in their natural habitat, arranging a pod of Orca’s as a big bonus on the way back to Campbell River and add in a touch of your enthusiastic and humorous personality (Garry). Thank you so much for this once-in-a-lifetime memory!

Whale Watching Journey
Dear Aboriginal Journeys,
Thank you so much for the awesome experience I had on your 2 boat tours when I came out to Campbell River at the end of May 2009. It was amazing being able to see the Sea Lions and Seals playing on the rocks. It was so neat to hear them and see them in person! We also got to see a black bear and a grizzly bear! Very cool! The highlight of the trip, tho, was when we saw the Orcas! It was amazing. Absolutely amazing! I couldn't believe the size of them as they swam by. It was an experience of a lifetime to watch them playing, jumping, and swimming around us. I would definitely recommend Garry and Aboriginal Journeys to anyone who asked. Garry was a great tour guide; he definitely knows the area and what he is talking about. He made us feel at ease during the tour with his many jokes and stories. I was very glad I took in the tours; it was very worth my time and my money! Thanks again.
