Aboriginal Journeys is a First Nations wildlife viewing and adventure tour company located in Campbell River on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Family owned, we operate within the traditional territory of the Laichwiltach (Native) peoples.
You can be assured that you are in very knowledgeable and capable hands as the genuine care, comfort, and safety of our guests is always our first mission. Your tours are guided by locally born residents and certified boating professionals.
Enjoy Your comfortable journey aboard our tour boats — such as our 27-foot covered high-speed tour boat with onboard washroom. This vessel carries 12 passengers and is fully equipped with proper navigation and safety equipment. Even on a rainy day, you'll be warm and dry inside.
We also offer Wildlife and Adventure Tours aboard our 24-foot Zodiac tour boat that carries 12 passengers comfortably.

Garry Henkel, locally born and raised, is the Most Experienced Tour Guide in Campbell River. He has over 30 years experience working and travelling within the coastal waters of British Columbia. He has been providing tours with Aboriginal Journeys for over 10 years.

Ray Wilson, a member of the the Laichwiltach Nation was born and raised in the Campbell River and Quadra Island area. He has been on boats as long as he can remember. His first job was on a gillnetter when he was 11 years old. Ray has worked on the water from Alaska all the way down to the California Coast. His knowledge of the area and his sunny disposition is sure to make a better day for everyone involved. |
